Instead of Abracadabra

If you have 20 minutes to spare, I highly encourage you watch this short film (it’s in 3 separate YouTube clips, my apologies, but it’s all I could find). It’s called Instead of Abracadabra and is by Swedish writer / director Patrik Eklund.

I saw this with my good friends and artists Paige, Greg and Brent at the Filmets Film Festival in Spain last November and it just popped in my head so I HAD to find and share it. It’s a great story about perseverance, parental approval and a little bit of love set to a quietly hilarious plot. Plus, it’s very well shot and art directed.
